Heading to the Nationals!
As you could imagine, the tamariki are very excited! they are all doing their best at kapahaka practice, noho marae every weekend until the nationals, tutors are working hard, kaiako & whanau giving support to make this a success.
Part of the preparations is also fundraising to get us up there. Travel, food, accommodation are all part of the expenses.
We are also looking at new kapahaka kakahu for the tamariki!
The tamariki are doing hoko kai, spell-a-thons, we are doing hangi and any other thing to help us get there! Whanau are also looking at different funding avenues as well.
